Pilates hands
A practice, not a workout

Studio Naya is rooted in the contemporary STOTT PILATES® method — an evolution of Joseph Pilates' original work, refined through modern anatomy and biomechanics.

We believe Pilates is a relationship, not a regimen. Strength built slowly. Mobility earned with attention. A practice that meets you where you are, and walks with you for the long arc of a life.

Whether you're recovering from injury, preparing for birth, returning to sport, or simply seeking a quieter mind — every session is taught with care, precision, and a deep respect for the body in front of us.

The Five Basic Principles

Afoundationforeverymovement.

Drawn from the STOTT PILATES® framework, these principles inform every cue, every transition, every breath in our studios.

01
Breath

Lateral breathing organises the spine and primes the deep core. Every cue at Naya begins with breath.

02
Pelvic Placement

Neutral or imprinted — we teach you to feel the difference, so your practice translates beyond the studio.

03
Rib Cage Placement

Connecting the rib cage to the pelvis builds the long, supportive line that protects the lower back.

04
Scapular Movement

Shoulder blade stability is the silent architecture of every upper-body movement.

05
Head & Cervical Placement

A neutral neck lets the rest of the body work without compensation.
